Our Story
Al-Mawrid Founded (Lahore, Pakistan)
Al-Mawrid was founded by Islamic scholar Javed Ahmad Ghamidi as an institution dedicated to advancing research and education on the Qur’an and the Sunnah. From its inception, it aimed to revive an intellectual tradition of scholarship emphasizing clarity of thought, methodological rigor, and constructive engagement with contemporary issues.
Al-Mawrid U.S. Established
To extend this work internationally, Al-Mawrid U.S. was established to promote global outreach and structured educational initiatives.
GCIL Dallas Campus Inaugurated
The Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning was established as a formal educational institute focused on structured learning, academic research, and community development.
Global Contribution
The institution contributes to global conversations on faith, knowledge, and ethics by supporting scholarship and fostering informed religious understanding.
